Aquamod Stormwater Crates
Maximizing Volume in Minimal Footprint
For some stormwater management projects, crates or boxes are the best solution. When that’s the case, installing crates manufactured of fiberglass-reinforced composite materials offers numerous advantages over traditional plastic crates. Xerxes’ stackable Aquamod modules can be configured to meet any project requirements, and is particularly impactful when large storage volumes are specified but the site has a minimal footprint or requires a tight configuration.

Stormwater Crate
Success Story
Lacey, Washington
When a development is still under construction, it isn’t the site itself that makes a stormwater system installation challenging. It’s the real-time activity going around the site at the time of installation. That was the case at a new 67-home development in Lacey, Washington. A road was being constructed and one of the new homes was right next to the stormwater system installation.
Because HydroChain Aquamod crates are easy to assemble and install, it made working with the Xerxes team and products a natural. The system used more than 1400 crates, which provided more than 30,000 cubic feet of storage. Topping off the benefits was using native sand for backfill with the product resulted in significant cost savings for the installation itself.
