Fiberglass fuel tanks made of premium resin and glass-fiber reinforcement do not need added linings, coatings, jackets or cathodic protection to guard against corrosion from stored fuels or surrounding soil. A multicompartment tank is the most space-efficient way to store multiple fuel types and grades. Besides space, using one multicompartment tank rather than several smaller tanks needed to store the same fuels can also reduce:

Thanks to careful planning – and a police escort – two 12-foot-diameter fuel tanks were safely delivered early one weekend morning to Houston Memorial Hospital.

When a national convenience store planned an upgrade to an existing store in Georgia, they decided to transition from steel fuel storage tanks to fiberglass tanks.
